* Old Town Brewing Co., Portland, Or. opened 12-29-2011. This is a 7bbl Brew House. Yes, the most iconic Pizza joint in Portland now has a brewery at it's second location on North MLK. When I first walked into this space and looked around, my jaw dropped. It is a true piece of artistic woodwork and design. The first thing I said to my wife was "This place is bitchin and would be an awesome spot for a brewery" . Ironically almost a year to the day I got a call from Adam asking me if TurnKey would be interested in putting in a brewery at his location, of course I told him my story and we new it was meant to be! With It's incredible space of all windows and roll up doors, wood floors reclaimed from turn of the century tobacco warehouses in Kentucky, to the cozy fireplace in front of the huge copper bar, this place is one of the coolest places I've had an opportunity to put in a brewery. With a seasoned vet as head brewer, Scott G. is starting to turn out some incredible beers. Now you will be able to have an awesome House Made Beer to go with that awesome House Made Pizza!

*Triple C Brewing Co. Charlotte N.C., opening this summer 2012. This is a 15 BBL Brew House. Triple C Brewing Co., headed by Chris Harker, Chris & Christina Murphy, has leased 20,000 square feet in an industrial building
on Griffith Street, near the New Bern light-rail station. The space will accommodate a 15-barrel brewing system and a tap room
offering four to six beers. Triple C is named for its three principals
(Chris, Chris and Christina). Scott Kimble, the new head brewer, has just joined the team. Scott was the Head Brewer at a very popular brewery in Colorado for many years and is now brewing on "HIS" beautiful New 15 BBL BH and the 30 BBL Fermentation Tanks and Bright Tanks. Scott and Chris had been developing the Flagship Beer, "light Rail Pale Ale" during the evenings after long De-Construction days. I was fortunate to sample some of their beers like the smoked amber which is killer, the IPA and the pale. As of today 8/15/12 Scott has brewed about 90 BBL'S of beer in three weeks getting ready for the grand opening in about 1 week!
